The preschool that currently resides at the Community School will be moving to a new building, leaving the Community School building empty. This school has meant so much, to so many over its many years of operation. What us, the residents of Pacific would like to see is the building turned into a Community Center, something Pacific has been lacking for far too many years. A place to hold group classes, meet up for yoga or basketball. Local entrepreneurs could use their skills to teach classes such as photography, music, and art. Large local fundraisers could have a place to call home. In this way, we feel as if the Community School could continue to enrich the hearts and lives of the residents in Pacific and surrounding communities. Pacific could finally have the community hub that it so deserves.
