I don't agree with everything in this document. There are some technical hurdles in this game that are too deep to fix, I get that. I also appreciate the "let it play" aspect of how some systems are designed. However, the engagement level of Frontier has been discouraging. No one should support a team on a Pay2Play that is radio silent. This has happened before with 3rd party tools: I do not understand why it needs to happen again.

Communication is key! I love Frontier for what they have given us (Elite Dangerous) but Frontier needs to reach out to the community to help mould the game. Hello Games are a great example of what can happen when interaction between the community and developers is strong . Elite Dangerous is a way better game than NMS, well I think personally. Enable us to help and contribute please Frontier...

I've played this game more than any other, and more than most other games combined.
It's great, but increasingly seems to have minimal effort put into it adding attention grabbing updates and expansions that feel half baked, over hyped, or pointless rather than addressing problems and polishing it which would improve the game.

I have enjoyed elite on and off for a while now but have always been turned away by many of the issues addressed in the community letter. The concept of Elite is incredible though the mechanics and execution of those ideas have negated the enjoyment. We were promised a galaxy that never came to be. Make it happen Elite! We believe you can do it.
