Community Request for Landlord Action on Persistent Noise Violations

Please help us

This disturbance has been negatively effecting everyone within the community and needs to stop.

I have a terrified friend living nearby who can't afford to and shouldn't have to afford to move because one landlord isn't protecting the right to quiet enjoyment of others. It's the landlord's duty, and while their hands are often tied by the worst "protective" laws, this is the level where the law and judges make exceptions. And the abused child needs to be safe.

Hope there’s a compassionate solution that can serve all parties involved.

The yelling and music are out of control and we, as the neighbors, have really suffered. Enough is enough! Get that woman out ASAP. Every day is one day too much! Woken up at all hours night and day! We have rights to peace! This is horrible!

I live at 204 Wayne Ave and I am a tenant in the building which is the source of the noise disturbances affecting the entire neighborhood. This has gone on with one tenant for over a year and recently another tenant has escalated the disturbance. The second tenant has crossed the line into psychological abuse. I can document 3 weeks of sleep loss. And I was recently asaulted by the second tenant while recording her behavior. This needs to stop. I have lived hear since 1996 and this level of disturbance is uncalled for. It devalues the rental property and residential property and accepts cancerous human behavior in an otherwise peaceful area of the city. This needs to stop. Peaceful and law-abiding residents should not have to be subjected to the behavior of people who engage in outlawry and devisive behavior.

I live in the building next door. It’s frankly unacceptable for this to be allowed to continue as long as it has. It is distressing, violent, and can be heard for blocks. I sleep with ear plugs in, my windows closed, and a noise machine and I’m STILL woken up in the middle of the night by loud yelling. Please take action. Please get them (and us) some help.

I live at 291 Lester Ave at the back of the building. This crazy lady is disrupting my life in a major way. My lack of sleep is affecting my work, my social life, my mental and physical health… She is verbally terrorizing the neighborhood and I should not have to consider moving out because one person decides to scream at all hours of the day or night. Thank you for addressing this

I can hear the outbursts and I'm well up the street. This behaviour needs to end, not just for our neighbours but for the daycare less than half a block away from this location.

I've been directly harassed multiple times and have videos of lude indecent exposure. I have been directly verbally abused with slander and racist bigotry. I've also heard these same people get into a domestic dispute. She verbally and possibly physically attacked her own daughter which seems to not be there anymore. This is a mental health issue that needs to be addressed immediately. Enough is enough

This person has some serious mental health issues and is disturbing the entire neighborhood. She also has a child that she verbally and physically abuses.

Have been severely impacted by this issue.

This has become an all encompassing issue for everyone in the neighborhood. She needs help and I am concerned for the safety of her daughter and all of us who are living nearby.
