We want the people of our community, of the City of Fairmont area, involved in keeping 5th St Park and Gym safe for our children. It's time to take the park BACK!! The renovations at the park have been wonderful, but now is time to keep it safe. Can we get people involved? Who wants to step forward and help, either by taking time to help keep it clean, reporting suspicious activity going on in that area to the police, helping to get security cameras for the park (donations from a security company would be wonderful). The community over the years has turned its back on this Park and Playground, it's time we as parents take it back, for out children. Any ideas and suggestions welcomed. Let's make this park a safe and happy place again, I want to see some smiling, laughing children!! With no worries of danger, drugs, and violence. This is a park for OUR Children!!
