Community Petition COMMUNITY SUPPORT FOR HOANG CHUONG TRAN – HUMANITARIAN AND COMPASSIONATE CONSIDERATIONS
This letter is a show of community support for Hoang Chuong Tran. We have been
informed that there is a possibility of Mr. Tran and his family not being allowed to
stay in Canada permanently and that there is a possibility of him being removed
from Canada. We want to show Immigration Canada that removing Mr. Tran from
Canada and separating him from the life he has built here would be very difficult
for him, his family members, his friends, and his community.
We request Immigration Canada not to put him in a distressing situation and we,
further, want to persuade Immigration Canada to consider granting Mr. Tran and
his family permanent residence based on humanitarian and compassionate
grounds.
Mr. Tran is a citizen of Vietnam. He arrived here to find a better life for him and his
family, and to be in a better position to shape the future of his family. For few, his
visits may seem like a short span of time but for Mr. Tran, after his time spent here,
Canada has become his true and only home. To be denied permanent residency and
asked to leave our country would bring great hardship and heartache to him and his
family, especially during this time. Life would be tough for him and his family if he
were forced to leave Canada now. Removing him from Canada would cause a
distressing situation for him. We do not want to lose such a compassionate and
family-driven individual; his full potential is yet to be uncovered.
He has become an integral part of our community, actively contributing to its
growth and diversity. His dedication to building connections with people from
various backgrounds has enriched our community, fostering an environment of
equality and respect. He has invested his time, effort, and resources into Canada,
and his commitment goes beyond personal gain.
Mr. Tran’s presence in Canada is crucial for the well-being of his family, especially
his children. He is a family-driven individual who cares deeply and loves his family
unconditionally. The pleas for the humanitarian and compassionate grounds
application rest greatly in the best interests of him and his family. Without a shred
of doubt, we find Mr. Tran to be a respectful individual and know that he already
treats Canada as his home.
If removed from Canada, due to the underemployment and unemployment situation
in Vietnam, due to his age and lack of recent experience, it would cause Mr. Tran
painstaking efforts to re-establish himself in the country, if that were even possible.
We know that he would experience considerable dislocation, and it would be very
difficult, if not impossible, for him to find gainful employment if he were forced to
return to Vietnam. If he is not granted permanent residence, he and his family
would experience considerable hardships.
Mr. Tran has undergone an ordeal which, on normal accounts, will cause a person to
break down. He, however, stands apart from the crowd. Despite the ordeal he has
undergone, he has not given up the zeal and drive to be able to provide for his
family. We empathize and sympathize with his situation and request that emphasis
be paid to his age, profession, experience, and his family. We support his aspirations
and request that he is allowed to stay where he belongs. Please let this family
continue working towards building their future in Canada, a place that they already
treat as home.
In their time spent here, the Tran family has fallen in love with our country and has
become accustomed to our way of life here. They have become essential members of
the community and have been actively looking to contribute their time and effort
towards community development. They know the importance of communal
involvement. These bright individuals’ prospects and potential would be limited if
they could not remain in Canada permanently.
Canada has provided Mr. Tran, his wife and his children with a haven that he could
never have imagined back in Vietnam. Their absence would be significantly felt
throughout the community. We would be worse off, as a societal group, if they were
forced to leave us. They treat us as his family and community. Please do not let us
be separated from one another.
The Tran family is a prime example of what Canada stands for, a rich cultural
diversity. Removing them from Canada would be an unspeakable hardship for
them, their friends, their family, and their community. They are valuable and
contributing members of society and the community. We know that they will
continue to give so much more when they are permitted to stay in Canada
permanently. We do not want to lose exceptional individuals with the caliber and
potential like them.
Granting Mr. Tran and his family permanent residence would provide them with a
sense of stability and security, enabling them to continue making a positive impact
and contributing to the welfare of our community and the country as a whole.
Allowing them to stay is not only in their best interest but also in the best interest
of our community, which has come to value and appreciate their presence.
As a community, we support this application for permanent residency based on
humanitarian and compassionate grounds. Please allow Mr. Tran and his family to
stay in Canada. Every person undersigned here joins in this request.
