https://www.facebook.com/highfieldhallcc - A good way to ask questions to the HHCA. Just asked when the AGM is going to be and a date has not been set as yet :( well it is only March i guess and the AGM is usually in April!

I would also like to make it clear that i would not be a good chairperson myself and wouldn't have the time to dedicate myself unfortunately to that role with having 3 kids and work commitments. Just wanted to say this now!!!
Remember the AGM is in April or May if you think you have the time and skills required for a position on the HHCA

Well if the nursery are forced to leave and they don't find another user group to pay 70% of the total bills of the community centre's total it won't be long before this council owned building is sold off for a possible site for houses!! Just what the community needs!

£2100 per month rent?? That's ludacris?? How is that amount justified in a funded community hall???

Yes and like i have said before there are 2 sides to every story i am sure the association have good reasons, and i would love to hear them! My opinion is they have been unfortunately misguided very much or have only one priority in mind?!

Thank you for your support. Yes it is very much a strange way to have these committee meeting in such secrecy. Also how no interest to find new committee members or accept applications is shown. Things are very biased in the favor of one user group in particular and this should not be allowed to happen. The Council are aware of many of these things but must not be able to do anything about it. I know Cllr Gillies was sent in to over look everything and to be a go-between for the Council and needed to attend "every meeting" i was told.. so i'm sure the Council have lots of information from these meetings?! Then again is this information private even from the Council?! (hint of sarcasm sorry) Lets just wait and see
