We propose that the University of Western Sydney consider introducing a community garden to Bankstown Campus. The induction of which, would work to:

•Encourage sustainability
•Allow individuals access to organic, nutritionally rich foods
•Offer the opportunity to share companionship, skills, and knowledge through diverse varieties of cultural exchange
•Forster the development of community participation, stewardship, identity, and spirit
•Allow individuals without land of their own the opportunity to garden or produce food
•Offer people a place to engage in physical activity, relax, socialise, and enjoy themselves
•Enhance the mental and physical health of those involved
