This petition is for the inmates and families of the inmates in our local county jail in Hernando County Florida. The jail is subjecting our loved ones to the deadly virus by keeping non-violent offenders locked up in close, confined areas or kept in their cells on lock down, which is cruel and unusual punishment and inhumane and against their Civil Rights. I'm sending this petition to our Governor, State Attorney, our Sheriff and any and all state law enforcement and Wardens of the county jails and State prisons in Florida. Please show your support for the safety, health and well being of our loved ones in the state system.

My son is in there for a simple probation violation and he is scared to death of catching this virus. Just let them get home safely.
