Hard to watch someone insight hate and fear... And see how many people seem to think it's going to be great?

And don't forget the bald-faced lies! It's astonishing to me how he seems to get away with just making things up.

He is an affront to everyone who values intelligent discourse, and an embarrassment for the citizens of this country.

I'm a concerned Canadian colleague. Trump hates NAFTA and that means bye bye to our comm pros being allowed to share our expertise in each other's countries. Trump is radical and divisive. He's a bully who intimidates, shouts until he's heard and targets anyone in his way. It's possible that Trump may have some good ideas (I said "may"), but the way he communicates undermines any value in his message. He embodies and incites hate and anger. His ridiculous animated (tiny) hand and mouth gestures distract from anything he's saying -- but then, I suppose late night talk shows are grateful to him for the fodder to their comedy skits. His communication style would be very ineffective as a statesman, though he'd make a pretty good circus barker. He would certainly not serve or represent the classy and well-spoken Americans I'm proud to call my colleagues and friends.

Donald Trump's constant use of anger, violent expression, bullying, slurs, and prejudiced personal attacks instead of well-thought out arguments and policy proposals demonstrates not only that he is irrational, ignorant, and unstable but also that he cannot communicate coherent, cohesive thought when necessary.

Our country needs and deserves the highest caliber of leadership; nothing less will do. Mr. Trump's communication is substandard and insidious. He exemplifies all that a leader should not be.

Mr. Trump is extremely offensive and a threat to basic civility in our society. His rhetoric and scare tactics are eerily similar to the approach that Adolf Hitler used to stir up hate, bigotry, and anti-everything that he didn't like in Germany. He is role modeling the worst of the worst when it comes basic civil discourse. Rather than using free speech to open minds, he is using the power of speech to close minds. I am hoping and praying that our country can rise above such ignorance in the coming election.

I've been a communication professional for 52 years. I have covered and commented on many elections and candidates. As a professional, I admire his ability to stir listeners. He uses language and communication techniques very well. Unfortunately, like many famous communicators, he uses his talent to reach the bottom and basest qualities of people rather than using them to strengthen and humanize people. As a communication professional and as a man, there is no way I can justify his conduct. It would be a tremendous strain on the character of this great nation if he were to win. It is already enough of a blot. I'm honored to use my talents to condemn and correct his communication whenever possible. Remember, we cannot just sit by and do or say nothing. We all know from history what happens when good people do that.

Communications professionals also value forceful language based on a smart sense of what the opposition is up to. Needy Donald's biggest weakness may be his self-love. Find ways to get under his skin and knock him sideways!
