I am hard pressed to understand why restrooms cannot be installed either temporarily or better yet, nicely and permanently, across Parkview on the Jeffrey Mansion property, north of the driveway. It would be on city park grounds, adjacent to Commonwealth, and could conceivably be surveilled from within the park offices. There is also dense foliage already on the north border and more could be added to keep the facility private and attractive. Putting a port-a-potty in wide-open Commonwealth Park, even with a structure around it, seems like a bad idea.

Parents should take care of their kids at home or use the Jeffrey Mansion facilities. How about if we install a portapotty on their street corner!

Each morning when I walk my dog at Wolfe Park, I see who shows up to use the port-a-potties there. Lots of workers traveling to their work sites. Like the intention of the potties at Commonwealth, these potties are supposed to be there for the people/families/kids who are using the park, but between 6am and 9am, it is a steady stream of trucks pulling up, folks getting out to use the potty, and then going back to their trucks. Once word gets out, this will be the reality at Wolfe Park. I'm all for clean, safe, public toilets, but not smack dab in the middle of a residential area.

If this is absolutely necessary; Please consider ordering units on a daily or weekly basis (drop-off and pick-up before and after camps/events) rather than installing permanent units.
