The town of Ipswich needs to be more proactive in providing appropriate affordable housing so that neighborhoods are not held hostage by developers who take advantage of the state laws.

While I am in many ways pro-growth, this particular project is out of scale with the area and likely to create parking and other problems in this neighborhood. It is simply too large a project on too small a lot. I would ask something be built that does not practically cover the entire lot in building and parking spaces, of which there are not even enough spaces for what will likely be used by the residents.

Zoning regulations, there is good reason that they are there in the first place; please stand behind them. The safety of the neighborhood as well as the character of the street should be maintained. This is exorbitant for the lot and area.
