I'm disappointed to read Sanditon may not continue. I, like many others, assumed Covid 19 was delaying the filming of Season 2 and am surprised it was cancelled due to low viewership. The quality of the production isn't in doubt, so who is to blame? Lack of advertising?

Je suis une fan de Jane austen mais également des films ITV et BBC. C'est toujours un brin de fraicheur, et cela nous permet de nous évader dans des ambiances que j'adore. Sanditon m'a charmé, emporté et fait beaucoup de bien dans cette période super morose et remplie de mauvaises nouvelles. SVP donnez nous la saison 2 on ne peut rester sur cette fin. Donnez nous des images de quoi nous passionner et réver un peu.

Je trouve injuste de nous laisser regarder la saison 1 et de nous laisser sans voir le dénouement. C'est inhumain. Honteux

I just finished watching season 1 with my sister. We thoroughly enjoyed it! We would love to see more! Even just a movie to wrap things up would be nice. I think Amazon would do a fantastic job! I hope they pick it up!

By far the best Jane Austen presentation since 1995 pride and prejudice. In these dismal times we need seasons 2 and 3 and sidney and charlotte finally together Obsessed by this series

Sanditon ending is heartbreaking and so unlike anything Jane Austen would end with. Just saw a documentary on Austen and it said that she wrote about happy endings. we want season !!!

Must continue this great series in Austen’s memory. She would have wanted resolution in her own style and in fairness and love for the characters she created

Sanditon Series 2 needs to have an early 19th Century Murder Mystery with three murder victims.
1. Lady Denham
2. Eliza Campion
3. Mrs Heywood
The questions for the viewer are "Who committed the murders?", "What connection is there between the murder victims?" and "Why were they murdered?"

Sanditon ending is heartbreaking and so unlike anything Jane Austen would end with. Just saw a documentary on Austen and it said that she wrote about happy endings. Thus Sanditon needs a happy ending for Sidney and Charlotte to stay true to Jane Austen.
