Commercial Vehicle Parking on Autumn Stage

Tired of semi-trucks parking along Autumn Stage? I know many are judging by the Nextdoor messages I receive, as am I. At best it's unsightly, at worst it creates a blind spot. It used to be a once in a while random occurrence, now it seems like there is a truck or two there four times a week.
The state law here is a bit interesting. This is illegal parking (no semi street parking within 1000' of a subdivision), but the only way for law enforcement to apply the law is for Stage Run to have the city place signs on Autumn Stage. According to Texas Transportation Code (Sec. 545.307.c), the subdivision of Stage Run needs to petition the City of San Antonio to place signs on Autumn Stage prohibiting overnight by commercial vehicles (a road tractor, truck tractor, pole trailer, or semitrailer, as those terms are defined by Section 541.201).
25%, or 135 residents, need to sign the petition in order for it to be submitted to the city to have signs created and posted.
Autumn Stage fulfills 545.307.b.1 being adjacent to a residential subdivision and within 1,000 feet of the property line of a residence, school, place of worship, or park. The last house on Autumn Stage and the Stage Run Soccer Park are well within 1000 feet of the frontage, effectively encompassing the entirety of Autumn Stage.
This petition is for Stage Run residents only, please.
