For decades, many of our First Nations people have experienced poverty whereby, affecting 1 in every 4 children. Some of the affects include, but are not limited to are; polluted water, run down and overcrowded housing, ill health, inadequate schools, etc.

It is long over due, and it is about time the children and youth of our First Nations communities receive adequate housing, funding for schools, food, shelter and a wealth of social programs.

We the undersigned, call upon the Honourable Eric Hoskins, of the Ontario Ministry of Children and Youth Services, to take the necessary action in order to eliminate poverty and support the well- being of our First Nations children and youth.
