This angel was murdered by hus mom. The one e person who should have protected him. She had the chance to save him but was to afraid of getting into trouble. She should be charged with murder but since shes not the maximum sentence is what is just.

Another reason why I believe life in prison or worse should be the result of murdering a poor child is that giving Colton the Justice that is rightfully his can then maybe help other victims have hope that their abusers will be taken away and they too can have the justice they deserve. Rather then being afraid knowing when they come out they can be a target of revenge. Then being scared all over again for their life and maybe even the life of their family. Always living in fear and not having any faith in the system because they felt no one cared and so never turning in another abuser or maybe even pick up the same bad habit of their abuser. Then continuing the cycle. Not only will it give Justice for Colton but may even help other victims or a witnesses of abusive personal to not be afraid and speak up. So the victim can be saved.
