I object very strongly to the proposed housing expansion and traveller site in Colton and would be very concerned indeed about the greenfield site proposed for the building of the houses. Also I would be very concerned about the amount of extra traffic this would add to Colton Village.

Build homes but not a gypsy site. We have a housing problem as it is. We don't need extra problems in the community.

I would like to object to any further developments in Colton due to already busy roads for the number of houses and commercial premises already arguably over developed. The use of greenfield land is an outrage when they are plenty of areas of Leeds in desperate need of regeneration schemers.

If travellers want to travel let them carry on somewhere else why do they want to settle down. Why should they be given preference over people who pay taxes and rates.

No way should this be allowed they should be looking after tax payers and council tax payers we've already got refugees arriving we will be living in caravans before you know it and they will all be living in our houses

How will these people integrate, travellers don't mix with none travellers. The will not enhance the area , the schools can't cope now . This is a very residential area I don't see how the two will mix at all .

We don't want them here! They are a danger to everyone. Leaving rubbish behind and they attack anyone around. Say no and make them pay for owning caravans!

This is beautiful land used for recreation, steeped in history and a haven for wildlife including deer. It does not make any sense to destroy this land when there are so many brownfield sites in and around Leeds screaming for redevelopment. Also Colton is bursting at the seams; there is a long waiting list for the local primary school, it takes 2 weeks to get an appointment with a GP at the local medical centre, the roads are congested and hazardous, litter is also a major issue and the fact that Thorpe Park is going to expand massively has the potential to destroy Colton forever.
