We, the undersigned are in support of the EPAMD Bill as presented to The State Of Colorado House and Senate for the use of Electric Personal Assistive Mobility Devices (Segway) on public right of way used for traffic. We recognize that proper rider training is essential when using these devices for personal transportation, where it is the express responsibility of the Segway Dealership to insure the concepts of safety and courtesy are properly relayed to users of this device. There appears to be a slight misperception by some in the public of the positive characteristics that EPAMD devices offer as a unique form of transportation. This device is new to the market, and has been subjected to many tests by many agencies for its practicality. The results of these tests are extraordinarily positive in nature, to the extent that many agencies have voiced,
