People in Colorado go to most surrounding states excluding Utah, and buy the big fireworks that are federally allowed. Most states including New Mexico, Kansas,Oklahoma,Nebraska,and Wyoming are in a drought, but keep the fireworks legal. Just think about all the tax money that could be generatored. The sale of all consumer fireworks is allowed in Colorado, but just to out of towners. Why not make them legal to Colorado citizens? We are allowed to own guns that shoot projectiles that can travel over a mile, why can't we own a projectile that goes a few hundred feet in the air?
