The Colombian government is there to protect and serve the people, in reality they are protecting and serving the rich foreign companies that are flooding into Colombia to take advantage of the countries rich resources. When the population becomes indignant at this unjust situation they are brutaly repressed by the government through the police and armed forces. This petition is to:
1. Say no to "La Colosa" gold mine in Cajamarca.
2. Say no to "El Quimbo" dam in Huila.
3. Say no to police brutality in Colombia.
The Colombian government is unjustly selling off land to multi-nationals at the cost of people's livelihoods and the destruction of the environment. La tierra no se vende, se ama y se defiende!
