Colleges using Standard Based Grading

Recently, we've visited a few colleges including Boston College. When we asked them about grading, we mentioned Standard Based Grading and they clearly had no clue what we meant. Standard Based Grading is when students can only get 95, 85, 75. It's also known as rubric grading, proficiency, and 4, 3, 2, and 1. Standard Based Grading means students take more control of their grade. Sign to agree that colleges should consider using Standard Based Grading!
