Anyone acquainted with the system, knows that Ferguson does not have a pretty rep. Besides the politics and youngsters on a mission to crash, the attitude and behavior of the C.O.'s who are barely old enough to drive is absolutely neglectful and uncalled for. Yes, these men are being punished or whatever, but they are still MEN and deserve to be treated with some amount of integrity and humanity. Anyone know how cold it is outside? Try that being inside to. Power tripping cops at Ferguson cannot even bother to push the button to turn on the heater! or allow 5 seconds to heat the water in the shower. While the laws themselves are wearing hooded sweaters, they make these men walk down the run to the showers during early morning cold wearing only boxers and shower shoes! They are not even allowed to wear tee-shirts! Which wouldn't be so bad if the heat was turned on. I am so sure we pay enough taxes to afford a little bit of heat! Would you rather have a heating bill, or pay for medical treatment because they are all sick? It's even freezing in visitation! Maybe if enough people care, something can be done, because my calls are apparently not being taken seriously. These c.o.'s are there to work, not pass judgment or inflict punishment simply because they can. It's a job, not opportunity to hide behind a badge and lash out because they were bullied in school. Not to mention, they are lucky if they all make store 1 time a month, and even visitors are treated like inmates and disrespected. So, everyone help out, its not asking much, just a signature to prove someone cares. I hate to think of my husband there at all, but freezing on top of it so bad he can't hold a pen, is too much. Maybe fear of public opinion will yield some results, and a few less cold busters. Sitting alone in a cage is awful enough, would you want to be cold and disrespected, too? EVERY 1 COUNTS!
