The kid studies at smart kids and they refused to consider refunds by revoking force majeure clause and completely disregarding the human aspects.

Shocked by the lack of pedagogy towards parents, constant increases that make no sense, COE on top of increases where the school can collect an extra 7.5% in interest rates from banks in Vietnam

The students have missed almost half a year of schooling due to this pandemic. The e-learning implemented was vastly inadequate and ineffective (conflict with the innovative school and premium teaching quality that it always touted). It is only fair that the burden is equally shared amongsts all stakeholders (parents & Cognita). Despite a much shorter notice of a lockdown, schools in the west (ie Australia) have implemented a far superior e-learning format (online classes through Zoom, Skype etc). In addition discounts between 30%-50% have been proposed.
We have been very loyal to ISHCMC for over 10+ years. We trust that Cognita will uphold its principles and integrity and do the right thing by all. This is its chance to stand out amongst the pack and show why it is a leading organisation not just in Vietnam but through out Asia.

I do not agree with the 3% increase for next year. Other schools have announced a two year stay of tuition.

The Covid-19 pandemic is not anyone's fault. It is something we must overcome together. I think many people are suffering from this Covid-19 epidemic, and we need to cooperate with each other to overcome the damage from Covid-19 epidemic. I think the most important thing can be started by sharing the damage with each other. Therefore, schools and students (parents) affected by this epidemic must share some damage. Currently, however, only students and parents take all of the damage. This is definitely wrong. Therefore, schools must find a way to share the damage by Covid-19 epidemic for better future education system not only for schools but also students and parents.
