No.211 Coffee House has successfully won to open it’s doors at Committee of Adjustment on November 20, 2019, Unfortunately, ABC residents association (ABCRA) appealed the decision, almost one year later On October 8, 2020 we had a hearing where our lawyer and planner we're once more successful at Toronto Local Appeal Body (TLAB) and it was clearly shown that a coffee shop at 211 Avenue rd. was desired and a normal addition to the landscape of Avenue rd.

We thought it was all over but ABCRA has decided to object/appeal to the TLAB decision and ask for leave Appeal our decision to Divisional Court. Once again trying to stop our 600 sq.ft coffee shop from opening. Why? We Don’t Know, but we do know that their on going claim to represent the community in this matter is false. ABCRC non-profit corporation appears to have a few board members who are against a coffee shop opening on Avenue road and with money from the ABCRC non profit corporation they are using it to kill our small business. We ask if you want to see a coffee shop in your neighbourhood help stop the board members from moving forward with their appeals.

Please sign this petition to show ABCRA board members that our community wants No. 211 Coffee House at 211 Avenue Road and please on November 25, 2020 register to be part of the ABCRA Annual meeting and have your voice heard...request they stop their appeal process and the legal fees associated with them... ask them to stop destroying the chance of having a small coffee shop in our neighbourhood. In a time like this when we should work to help each other, come together as a community, support small business, have a safe place to interact with one another ABCRA is fighting against us. PLEASE ASK, WHY?
