Code Exception for Off-Leash Dog Play at Jess Martin Park

Multi-use of the park was promised at its inception. This is a much needed use for many Julianites.

Please allow us a dog park.

In Julian, there isn't a near by park to take dogs to stretch their legs and run. I work full time, but am off for the summer. I have 2 well behaved dogs that I was looking forward to participating in the dog meet ups. I am so disappointed that this privilege may be a thing of the past.

Out of all of the San Diego communities, Julian is the most dog friendly area. There are dogs at most residences. It's a shame that because Julian seems like it's on the other side of the world to the local city dweller, it's disregarded when it comes to having an all important and much needed dog park. We deserve the same simple amenities as the larger communities.

This is a much needed thing for our community.

Please allow an area in Jess Martin Park in Julian to be designated for off-leash dog usage.

As a local dog owner in julian, I believe it is important for our heavily dog friendly community to have a public area for our dogs to run off leash. It would provide a place for locals and tourists alike to connect with others as well as provide a new recriational activity to the community.

Julian is a beautiful outdoor community that we would like to share with our dogs. The socialization and exercise that our dogs have previously enjoyed has been beneficial to both owners and pups.

I support off leash dog play at Jess Martin Park.

I strongly agree with this request. The upside far outweighs the alternative of leaving our town without an off leash area for responsible dog owners.

Let the dogs share in the fun!!
