Community is a valuable assets to our country and heritage, in this fragile world to maintain the pubs that are focal points for meeting each other and often organising local events is of great importance. It has a social value that far outweighs any commercial benefits. There are an increasing number of local communities that are taking over their pubs and successfully reinvigorating them as a centre of many activities that are not just about the alcohol.
Please consider talking with your locals and creating a project for which you, as well as they, will be fondly remembered for many years. Britain needs its community spirit strengthened. Please Help it happen.

The pub has been in disrepair for too long. Combe needs a robustly managed pub to enable the villagers to meet and increase interactions of all the community. I grew up in Combe and the Cock Inn was the social hub of the village. We need to ensure the Cock Inn returns to it’s former glory.
