"Coca-Cola Life is a product of Coca Cola launched in Argentina in June 2013, and in Chile in November of that year. It was created in Argentina and Chile after five years of research together in that respective countries.

It is the first version of the soft drink to be produced with stevia and sugar as sweeteners. Coca-Cola Life has launched in the United Kingdom in August 2014, in Ireland as of December 2014, in the United States, Mexico and Sweden, since September 2014, in Belgium, France, Estonia, Germany, the Netherlands and Norway since January 2015 and in Switzerland, since February 2015, and in Japan since March 2015. It is due to be launched in Australia and New Zealand in April 2015.

It is a lower calorie version of Coca-Cola, having 27kcal/100mL, containing 60% of the calories of classic Coke. Coca-Cola Life will co-exist with Diet Coke and Coca-Cola Zero in the Argentine and Chile market.

It can be compared with Pepsi True, which also uses Stevia as a sweetener. Over 45 products distributed by Coca-Cola use stevia extract."
