why is it that education has to help carry the burden of this country? We students are the deciding factor in the next election and the future leaders of this country. This makes me feel as though they want the masses to stay uneducated and constantly relying on the government. We are all capable of becoming valuable persons to our homes, communities and country if we are all given a fair chance and an opportunity. And this right here (tuition increase) is the exact opposite! I am a 3rd year student who work full time and go to school full time. I already find it difficult to pay my school bill. I'm a waitress who only makes $4 an hour and I bust my tail to make sure my fees get paid. So with the increase where does that leave me now? Stuck as a waitress for the rest of my life because I cannot afford to go to school, no one else will hire me because I do not have a degree in the field (nor the minimum 3years experience they require you to have) and going no where in life. All simply because education has to carry the weight. "Smh"

Being able to pay for college is a very difficult task. I understand that COB is going through financial difficulties, but an increase in tuition at this current point in time is not needed. They need to find other ways of raising monies to tackle the financial problems they are facing. It is not the best time for a raise in tuition/fees. Students should not be forced to pay more money!

The tuition increase is ridiculous that is going on at COB. Some students then are having difficult circumstances paying the tuition that is now offered at the college plus the tax and college should not be implementing no tuition increase.

There needs to be more transparency and accountability concerning budgets at this institution.
