I don't live in Cobh, but it's very dear to my heart. The pier needs to b preserverved in history, not just because of the titanic, but for all the other partings from Cobh

It would be nice to preserve the pier but that idea doesn't seem like the best way. Between the restaurant and experience it could be built up again for functionality. Like in the quays.

Cobh needs to think again, and think harder, with the concensus of the people of Cobh.

It would be great shame to ruin our beautiful historic to from land & sea. It should never be for profit it should be for all to see & remember.

It looks like x marks the spot.Who the hell thought this would be suitable for a heritage town .Why not ask the people of cobh to make suggestions or get a local artizt to come up with a design

Such a shame it was let to rot in the first place. It belongs to the Town's History and shouldn't be used solely for Financial gain.

Should be preserved by the council or harbour board and on view as always to the public. Blocking the view would be a disgrace

The sails will spoil the whole effect. Don't ruin an important piece of history in a beautiful town

The pier needs to be restored and saved in the theme of the years and the people it represents of the titanic. How many people losted thier lifes surely their deserved a bit more than a glass and sails . Its an insult what you have planned with t no consideration taken for the look of the town or hertiage of the town. And a big who ideas is it the charge to see this glass landing with the real pier rotting away underneath. Bad design and greed from the titanic experienice.
