Even in these tough economic times, we feel it is essential for the Cobb County School District to sustain Arts Education so our children continue to learn skills they need for a successful future.

The federal No Child Left Behind Act identifies the Arts as a "core academic subject". This is because quality arts programs help students develop higher order thinking skills, appreciate and understand human history and cultures, express their own creativity, and develop a life-long appreciation of the Arts.

We urge our School Board to keep the Arts in Cobb County schools.
