The area is well protected now. Lets take our time in changing that status to something that might cause more impact on natural habitats

Any designation as a National Monument would ideally be accompanied by a completed plan for the anticipated uses along with a plan for the funding necessary to insure the preservation and protection of the land and the flora and fauna.

My mom is a botanist in the area and has been explaining to me the dangers on the environment. Keep it local, safe, and preserved for the future.

My vote is to do a complete review before designating Coast Dairies Public Lands as a National Monument. I'm concerned with conserving what we have left of our precious natural diversity.

NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! This CANNOT be COUNTENANCED! Unless you INCREASE staff for RANGERS to monitor the increase of public traffic, allow NO destruction of beaches, manage trash and physical destruction of the landscapes, to things that affect the wildlife, especially a PRISTINE ONE! LOOK at what you people have allowed to happen to YOSEMITE!!!! I have found HUMAN FECES on the RIVERBANKS!!!! STOP THIS!

This looks good, but doesn't really improve anything at the margin. It actually seems to pose harm to wildlife. Think it out carefully before you approve.

As a fishery biologist with 30+ years of local experience, including work on coast dairies streams, I am very concerned about the potential destruction of heavy mountain bike and hiking use of this public land in close proximity to heretofore largely undisturbed streams inhabited by steelhead and red-legged frog.

We are already overwhelmed by population influx and traffic. Do not do this!
