Windang foreshore is always covered in rubbish it looks horrible and is not a good reflection on how amazing Windang really is, It is also very disappointing when people come to the foreshore and have BBQs and dump the coal through the grass and on the tree roots. It looks horrible and it certainly can't be good for the environment. It also isn't nice walking on especially if they're still hot. That's why I want to get Wollongong Council to put at least 2 coal bins along the foreshore, and them being there will stop the littering of coal!!

Seeing so many people back this idea makes me feel like we finally have a real chance to keep our foreshore clean and safe. I never thought so many neighbors would care this much about protecting the tree roots and grass from those hot coals.

I'm sure Wollongong Council would like their new boat jetty revamp not to be ruined by piles of unsightly black coals dumped everywhere in the vicinity!
Wollongong council needs to start respecting Windang as an equal part of their councils responsibility. We pay our rates and deserve out foreshore and town to reflect the level of love and care that is poured into other towns and the city itself.

Great idea I also believe we need more garbage bins as well as at Christmas Time the foreshore is a mess with rubbish

i live around the windang area and this is a perfect idea because windang will look alot better
