Coach Chase Douglas was a great addition to the Ridgeland High School staff this year. Anyone that takes his class will tell you how energetic and fun he is, and how good he is at what he does. He is a good leader and teacher, as well as a great addition to the coaching staff as a soccer and football coach. He has informed us that he was told he wouldn't be returning next year to Ridgeland High School. All of his students are extremely upset about this, because we see nothing he has done wrong. We were looking forward to taking him again next year in the special new science/engineering classes he is willing to teach. we can't see anyone else that would be a better choice for a Physics or Algebra 2 or Trig/Pre-Cal teacher. We got together and agreed to petition to keep Coach Douglas here.
