We want Coach Underwood to be allowed to return as Head Coach of the Centennial High School Softball team. Although his successful record as coach at Centennial speaks for itself, Coach Underwood would continue to bring stablility and continuity to a program that he began building 19 years ago. The success of Centennial softball is undeniable, numerous state championship appearances and capturing the 2010 5A State Championship, it is the dedication Coach Underwood brought to Centennial and the many players, assistants coaches and parents through the years. Coach Underwood has consistently instilled pride, determination, hard work and respect in his teams. This inspired a winning attitude year after year. Many of his former players have achieved college scholarships due not only to their talent but also attributable to Coach Underwood's guidance. The girl's on the current team deserve the opportunity to defend their State Championship with the coach that led them. We the undersigned want Coach Underwood back. It's the right thing to do.
