Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools just announced the new schedule for 10 schools in Charlotte. There was no request for community input, so we are offering it here: Do NOT sacrifice our children's childhood at the expense of saving transportation dollars. After-school sports are too important. After-school socializing is too important. After-school family time is too important. Keep the current schedules, and get our kids home to their childhood.
