This is an important community center in Sugar Land. A family friendly place where kids can learn skills, socialize and spend quality time. This must stay open in Sugar Land.

I am from the DFW area and spend every Labor Day weekend at an Ice Skating competition at SLICE. We stay in hotels, eat at restaurants and spend at retail throughout our stay. Without the rink, there is no reason to come.

There is too much going on at this facility and too many kids that will be displaced for this to not be saved. Spread the word and save the rink!!

Please, help save our home away from home, save our Sugar Land ice rink! Our family is devastated to hear that it could be permanently closed, and we are willing to help with anything we can to prevent that!

The rink provides a wonderful quality of life for the children and families in the Houston area. Keeping children engaged in positive out of school activities is vital in advancing our adolescents in school. The SLICE coaches and mentors encourage and provide guidance and support to high school students. It also promotes economic development as families ulitize the restaurants and retail centers in and around the Sugarland Town Center! The Sugarland Sports Center is a safe place for individuals of all ages. One of the heartwarming programs is the Skate Therapy Program that impacts the lives of children with special needs. We have a responsibility as Citzens to renovate and reopen the ice rink! Join us in this effort! Together we can do more!
