I never ice skated in my entire life and the sugar land ice and sports center was there. The coaches taught me when I was 24 years old. Hockey is now my life, being 30 I've made tons of friends whom I talk to on a weekly if not a daily basis. I worked here for a year doing maintenance and anything I could to fix the building. Interact with the public and skate with the great kids of the community. Save the rink! It's life!

This ice rink was my life for 6 years. Some people it's the difference between an ice skating dream, and an ice skating nightmare.

I want the center and ice rink to stay for good.

My best friend skates here and it would mean a lot to me if she could keep skating there

I can't understand why anyone would consider closing this place!?

There aren't many ice sheets in the Houston area, need to at least keep the ones we have

The ice rink is a place where children have fun and are safe. Please help keep this great venue open!!

The only place a father can bring his kids to play a little hockey together. Telling my 6 year old son that this rink is closed devastated him.

Save our Sugar Land Ice Center! It has provided a great hockey experience for over 20 years!

please do not close the ice skating center. It is a good place for all kids to have fun

My entire family has used the facility since 2008 and it would be a shame to see this rink close.

Not only a valuable asset for the community but helps young kids get involved in sports and keep them off the streets.

Keep it open for the many kids that need this place.
