I've had some incredible moments at that rink, whether it be the early 6am practices or the heartbreak of losing a city championship in a shootout, hockey and that rink is a part of who I am, it's so much more than a game and I want others to be able to have experiences there just as I have.

Sugar land ice rink has been part of my life growing up, I have played countless games at this rink and it would be a heartbreaking moment if the rink closed for good.

Please keep the skating rink in our city for those kids whose passion is this sport!!!! The programs offered are amazing and competitions bring hundreds of people to Sugar Land.

My sister used to skate here, and still does on occasion, I don't really skate, but I would hate to see it closed down.

Let's give our kids a choice about what they may want to pursue. Who knows--maybe an ice hockey or figure skating champion could be among them.
