Save slice!!! I have so many memories and friends there! Please dont demolish the ice rink! It gave so much back to the community and much more!

I love to ice skate and this is the closest place near me.

Please do not shut down this rink. It is critical for Houston hockey community.

It will be a big loss to the children and adults who go to this rink regularly and enjoy all the benefits figure skating and hockey bring to them. Please let us find a way to save this gem of the city.

THIS PLACE BRINGS FRIENDS TOGETHER

For the last 2 years we enjoyed the rink so much, it should be a big GEM for Sugar Land sports life.

This was one of the main reasons I chose to move to Sugar Land - I want to live in a town with an ice rink.

Pls keep the rink open...my daughter finally found a niche playing hockey and just joined the league. She'll be devastated along with all the other kiddos that play!!!

We have three family members, an adult and 2 children, involved in various programs at the rink. The ice rink is important to us and we hope to see it remain open.

We owe to our kids the ability to sample all forms of sports available. Just because we are in the south, it doesn't mean our kids can't be exposed to traditional winter activities. Plus, any activity that will keep kids out of trouble is a good activity. Please save the rink!!!!!

My son and I travel over 240 miles a week to play hockey with a team based at this facility, to lose it would be devastating to the hockey community. The closing of Space City Ice in clear lake was quite a blow to everyone south of Houston; this rink closing could create the demise of hockey in Houston altogether! Please don't do this to the kids!

This facility provided incredible environment for my two kids to learn life lessons. I am really glad hockey and figure skating was a part of my children's childhood. Hope the city can keep the place open for many generations to come.

This rink is very dear to me. I spent a lot of my childhood summers and evenings after school training here. It's shaped me into who I am today (and probably also got me into the college that I attended)! This rink has churned out figure skating champions over the years.. including Tara Lipinksi (1998 Olympic Gold in Nagano)!!! There is so much talent here... it would be a waste to close it down. City of Sugar Land, please step in to preserve this city gem (at least until a suitable buyer comes by).

My son loves it , I don't where would I take him if SLICE would close down.

Sugar Land Ice is home for a lot of families that play ice hockey and compete in figure skating. This place is a great family gathering place for the city of Sugar Land and the surrounding communities.

I don't want to see the place closed.
