Great place for hockey, figure skating, non profit skating events, and overall family fun time at the rink.

I would love for this place to stay open, accessible for anyone who wishes to have winter type fun in this HOT state! I would love for this chance to ice skate or play hockey, etc with my family! My husband, daughter, son, and myself would enjoy this close to home, Missouri City, opportunity!! Please keep open for the surrounding community, as well as those traveling, to visit, enjoy!! Thank You! :-)

This ice rink is an essential element of the quality of life in Houston and is always highlighted by realtors in Sugar Land. It needs to continue operating.

Closing it down will be a shame as so many people enjoy going there.

The life lessons you learn and the friendships you make at your home rink are priceless. Please help us keep our rink open.

I remember going here in sixth grade when it first opened for a field trip and recently moved back to sugar land with hopes that my kids would soon be able to enjoy the same experience. It is a Sugar Land icon. Please do not close!

Please don't close the rink!!! It has become like a second home for me where I have met many wonderful people and lifelong friends. Would be a terrible shame to see such a place shut down...so many broken hearts.

It is a shame that the limited opportunity for Hockey and other Ice Sports in the Houston area is being eroded even further.
It is worth noting that the Texas contribution for professional hockey players comes from Dallas, not the Houston metroplex. That in itself should say something about the potential locally.
Something needs to be done to maintain this arena as a functioning ice rink.

It would be devastating if we loose this arena.

This sports facility is one of Sugar Land's crowns jewels. It produced an Olympic Champion (Tara Lipinski), and many nationally successful figure skaters and hockey players. The Nutcracker on Ice show is a Sugar Land Holiday tradition. Most importantly, citizens of Sugar Land and nearby communities value this venue for recreation and fitness. It would be a terrible blow to the city to lose it. Please make Sugar Land Ice and Sports center a municipal facility!
