Ice skate here all of the time. It would be a huge loss to the community. I live in Richmond and love that it is so close. I take my nephews there with me. This is where they learned how to skate.

This rink has been a huge part of my life since I was at least 5 years old, if not YOUNGER. And at 21, it is still an important part of my life. To see it go would truly be a devastating blow to my childhood.

I was raised in the Aerodrome, starting in figure skating and then hockey. My sister was actually in it for even longer than I was, starting from when she could barely push herself forward, well into early high school. This place has always been a place families can go to have clean safe fun. It still is an amazing building and the fact that it could be closing soon, is heartbreaking.

This is a great resource for the community and a great facility. The city of Sugarland should buy this property and run it for all of the community. This is a fantastic way to keep kids engaged in positive activities. It's apparent by the use, and then by the owner's statement that there must be some financial mismanagement going on. There is enough usage of this facility and income coming in, that the facility should have a maintenance reserve. Please don't let this get shut down!

My son goes every Saturday to Skate Therapy and it is something he looks forward to and enjoys. We have been going for 2 years and the rink and the program have made a difference. Please save this for the children and the community.

I played hockey at this rink from 10 years old until I left for college at 17. It's a great place for kids to have fun, make friends, and gain self confidence in doing something that they love. It's amazing to see the incredible things that are happening in the community through programs like the STAR Skaters. Sugar Land needs this rink to remain a part of its great community.

Please save this rink. It is a vital community resource, not just for Sugarland, but regionally. It deserves to be supported as much as other recreational facilities, schools and infrastructure. My sons and family used to drive 120 miles round trip to use this facility - the city cannot afford to lose this.

My daughter has been taking lessons here for months, she's so passionate about it and she is absolutely heartbroken over this. Please do what you can to save out rink!!!
