It is a.beautiful rink, possibly the best in the area, and a real asset for the community. Give it back to the people who worked, played, trained and had therapy there.

My niece and nephew skate there and when we visited we thought they were so lucky - we live in Canada and believe it or not my kids had to stop figure skating because there was nowhere in our city that we could get them figure skating time and lessons!

To whom it may concern:
I am signing this petition hoping the city of Sugarland will help with keeping the ice rink open for many reasons; but none greater than the positive impact it has on the lives of special needs children. I pray the city, at the very least, makes an effort to help he community in this regard.

Please try to keep this facility accessible for the public and kids who desire to participate at skating. A positive place where kids and teenagers can go and learn life lessons who bring active is an essential part of the community. Thank you.
