I have been swimming at the local Community pool in Marinwood and with registration and reserved lap swim and continued COVID safety protocols in place I support this reopening. I think it’s key to have reservations in place and limited use until our population is safer. When not in the pool, masks required at all times is a comforting structure at the Community Pool.

THANK YOU Federico Calvi for organizing this - it is long overdue!
Here is another FREE online booking system that other condo HOA use as well: https://calendly.com/
Although with most of Marin vaccinated, and masks no longer required outdoors for those vaccinated, there should be no reason why the pool is not open already. We should not have to wait until 6/15, if then.
PLEASE OPEN THE POOL FOR THIS COMMUNITY TO USE.

Agree - no more excuses for not opening the pool! There are plenty of safe ways to allow the pool to reopen, including this online FREE booking system that other condo HOA use: https://calendly.com
However, now that most of Marin is vaccinated and masks are no longer required OUTDOORS for those vaccinated, we shouldn't have to wait another month for the pool to reopen - open it now!!

For the rules to follow around covid preventions we have seen a model deployed at GREEN OAKS in Terra Linda which i have been told its been deployed successfully. It relies on a sign sheet where only residents of the community with their family can book and use the pool one hour at the time.
I have already shared the details with our HOA Board

I support opening the pool if we have a method to support and enforce safe pandemic protocols, such as limiting the number of people at the pool, and/or only residents, not guests (which is what other community pools do). We would have to have a method of tracking and enforcing such. Perhaps investing in a badges to scan ourselves into the pool? Or? We could each contribute to the purchase of such a system. I miss the pool as much as anyone, but our community safety is paramount.

I support this only if we have a means of tracking safe covid19 protocols, such as limiting # of people at poolside, and limiting only to residents (not guests) at this time. How would we enforce this? Perhaps with issuing resident badges and a bad scanning device? We could each contribute to such a cost. Or???

We deserve the usage of our pool. We can not let the board mistakenly project on us the residents that we are going to be “irresponsible” as they claim.
Open pool plz
