In this troubled economy there are many ways to boost revenue and sales. One is an unfair practice of business that is being done by local City Government. The Gadsden Al Commission has passed a local law that says no " Club Liquor Licenses " will be issued in the city, while there are several that are in existence in the city. This is unfair to all similar business that are in the area and cause them large losses of revenue because it exist. The State ABC Board has no problem with this license and will issue to any business that can pass the requirements.If the City is not going to approve any new ones they should at the very least make the playing field level by revoking the ones in existence.
