The HL board has installed a no parking sign banning all parking from the club house parking lot as well as trespassing. A literal interruption means there can never be any parking or walking. It does not stipulate who or what is unauthorized vehicles; homeowners, guests repair services etc.? There are times for example driveway repairs when you cannot park in your driveway for a day or two, when guests are visiting etc. The board is punishing all homeowners due to one owner parking his/her vehicle there overnight.
This petition is to change the new parking lot restriction to residents, repair services, parking only. Permits required for overnight parking, duration based on request circumstances.
Don't punish the whole community for one perceived violator.

I have requested a formal meeting with the board members to discuss how the current policy impacts residents requiring temporary parking for contractors or guests. We are currently drafting a proposal for a permit system that addresses their concerns about overnight storage without banning all necessary access.

The current volume of support necessitates a formal review of our proposal by the board. I have requested a place on the agenda for the upcoming meeting to present our plan for a permit system. Updates regarding the board's response will be provided here as soon as they are received.

Since the lot is common area, owned by all of us, we should be able to reasonably utilize said lot. After all we pay to maintain this lot.
I was always under the assumption that if we had company visiting us, we could use that parking lot for over flow cars, since there is no overnight street parking. I remember last year, with all the neighbors who had biker friends visiting, their friends stored their empty bike trailers there during Bike Week. Darlene was even screaming at Tony that that was what the lot was for! Let’s see he hypocrisy during bike week!
There never was an issue when Jim Paytas was our HOA. The previous board did not have an issue why is this now an issue with this board? I can understand abuse but we can work around certain circumstances.

This must be a joke. Without this sign you are inviting drug users, non residents sleeping in their vehicles, and cheap hourly rates. This parking lot is for residents to use for authorized purposes, ie the pool and clubhouse. Temporary situations can be addressed with a request to the board or property manager. Mr Martinicky, perhaps you would like to volunteer to pick up the used condoms, drug needles, and report the pot smoking? Or perhaps your desire to use our parking lot as you own personal driveway is more important to you. This nonsense makes our beautiful community look bad, and I respectfully ask you to remove this petition. That is my literal Interpretation. Of course there can be walking and parking. By AUTHORIZED users. (ie- residents) The Board is punishing nobody. They are protecting our community!
The parking lot at the club house is an amenity that was explicit when buying this home. The action of barring access should be put to a vote of the entire HL community at the very least.

It is unconscionable that this decision was made to remove the previous signs and place new signs without any input from the Hidden Lake residents. When we pay our HOA dues we are paying for that parking lot. I agree the privilege to park in that parking should not be abused; but, there are times when use of that parking lot by the residents, other than for pool use or club house use, is necessary.
