I motion that in the United States of America, from henceforth (circa July 2012), clothing be made entirely optional. The benefits will be as follows: 1) People will take better care of themselves 2) More comfort when clothing is not restricting us 3) More respect - the human body will no longer be a target of scorn and derision but rather something that is appreciated and socially acceptable My philosophy is simple: if you need clothing to keep warm, wear it. If not, it is up to you. We should be able to choose whether or not we want to wear it and the human body should no longer be considered criminal or forbidden. I want the majority of Americans (100 million or more) to sign this petition so that when I propose my idea to our representatives, I am fully backed by the majority of the American public and democracy has a chance of prevailing. So, I say ,"Rip 'em off and let freedom swing!" Signed, Nicholas Daniel Burton 7/20/2012
