If you work full time, and can't be in to receive deliveries, the local sorting office is essential! Penge is not local - how are people supposed to get there during working hours?! Utterly ridiculous!

I don't drive and the new office in Penge would mean I would have to phone for redelivery on every parcel costing them more money.

This is only going to deplete profit for the post office because the alternative is far too far away so instead of collecting people, including me, will have to jay keep requesting redeliveries and often for Saturdays . Crazy idea.

Sorting offices are supposed to ve there to serve the local community. We already have random delivery times. So it is highly likely if you work you will not be in to receive a parcel. To move a sorting office so far away that you mostly likely have to pay and take time out to travel to get your parcel is wrong. Please keep our local services just that-local! !

It is simply impractical to go 3 miles to collect post. That distance is too far particularly for people who don't have a car.

I think this is a terrible idea. We need our local sorting office and for many of our residents having to travel to Annesley to collect parcels is too far and too long to get to via public transport. This is unacceptable.
