This is an important office that serves the local community well. Why would anybody even consider closing it. If it ain't broke don't fix it

So, this is how a privatised Public Service treats it's customers. I for one won't be going to Anerley to collect my undelivered parcels, I'll just get the PO to re-deliver, at their cost, another day that suits me. Tim Parker (Chairman) should think twice about cutting local services, as he may eventually end up with no business, and no job, at all, Vote with your money people of West Norwood - boycott the PO, and all associated businesses like Royal Mail. Use other companies (usually cheaper anyway!) like parcel2go. Signed West Norwood liberation front :D

I regularly (at least weekly) use this sorting office to collect parcels. With the massive increase in small parcels being delivered to the area, closing this office would be detrimental to the commmunity from here to Annerly by creating many unessessary journeys by mail staff and the public adds big to traffic and air pollution. There are already ques on Saturdays at West Norwood. What would it be like at Annerly?! We need this sorting office.

Have always had good service at Windsor Grove and would find it extremely inconvenient to have to go to Anerley to collect packages

The community needs this sorting office. I do not have personal means of transport. And since my health problems worsened I do not feel up to the task of getting to Anerley.

This is shocking news ! Why? We need this office to be kept open.
How insane is this proposal - how are old people, or those without transport to collect large packages, supposed to go all the way to Anerley? And what about the staff at this sorting office - are they going to be relocated or worse still, made redundant? Shocking to think of this. We want and need, to keep this office open, for ALL concerned and affected by this proposal.

West Norwood sorting office offers a great service to many local residents, moving it 3 miles away could turn a 10 minute round trip into and hour round trip when roads are busy.

This sorting office serves a real purpose in West Norwood. My family and i have used it for the 14 years we've lived here. It would be a real shame and inconvenience it it were to close.
