Please do not close this sorting office! So many of us depend on it. I cannot travel far and this would have a huge impact on me and my ability to collect post that could not be delivered.

Am signing because obviously Penge is really far away, a two bus journey, but this idea sounds so bananas I can't quite believe it's not a hoax.

I am mobility impaired and can manage a short walk to the West Norwood sorting office, but can't make it to Anerley without a taxi.

Please keep the sorting office in upper norwood as it is more convenient location with parking for those with a disability, along a bus route and is open at convenient hours. The staff at the office have always beeen helpful and friendly and they know many of us who collect our post there when out or working.

Delivering parcels Monday to Friday during the day when the majority of people are at work is inconvenient as it is, but at least we have Saturday mornings to walk over to this collection point to get them. Moving it 3 miles away makes it even more inconvenient - that's an understatement. We need this service kept in West Norwood. Surely the amount of people in the area warrants its own depot?!

Although we send more and more emails in the digital age we also shop online far more often and getting access to these parcels for people who work business hours is essential. This would be a real burden to our community.

Please don't move this sorting office. It is really important to have a sorting office you can get to by foot in London.

I am appalled to hear this proposal via social media - why has this been kept secret from the local residents who find the service invaluable? Surely this change of use will need planning permission and due consultation process? This area of Lambeth is sadly disregarded by the Council and now one of the few vital amenities is under threat. It must not be allowed to happen.

I was a postie there for 18 years and still have family who live in the area. Would be extremely sad to see the office gone.
