Keep it open! Anerley too far to go

This is such a tremendous service and does not deserve to be closed

I've just heard the New Cross Post Office is under threat, now this sorting office... what happened to the PO being a public service ? Closing these post & sorting offices will be a huge challenge for the frail and elderly, let alone those who are able & mobile, let alone the job losses etc. It's just awful, awful, awful.

This would be an absolute disaster- we need the local office and its a disgrace to even consider moving something so far away for residents= especially the elderly and those with no transport as not only is 3 miles unacceptable there is no direct route at all for anyone in our area.

This is incredibly inconvenient.

Annerley is far to far.

Anerley is quite a trek from West Norwood - especially when collecting large packages via public transport.

Receiving mail is one of the oldest forms of communication, and should remain accessible particularly to the most vulnerable in our community if you wish to prevent isolation.

i am totally against this planning move! Please reconsider and keep the depo where it is. Thank you

The local people need a local sorting office I'm disabled and 3miles is to far to travel without a car

This depot is always busy so it is obviously needed. It would be a loss of a very useful local service if it were moved to Anerley, which is inconvenient to get to on public transport and quite far away even if you do have a car.

I use the West Norwood delivery office regularly and would be very upset to lose it. Anerley is really difficult to get to without a car.

West Norwood needs its local delivery office. It needs to stay in its current location. It will be a loss of a local service if it is relocated.

I collect parcels from this depot all the time. Anerley would be really inconvenient without a car, and would make it impossible to collect parcels on the way to work (I work in central London). This means parcels will sit waiting for collection for much longer, until the weekend, and the depot will fill up.

Personally I don't want to have to go 3 miles on a bus to Anerley to pick up my parcels. The service should remain local.

Aren't we trying to reduce car journeys? This will increase them. And how about people without cars? People with buggies, disabled people, old people. 3 miles is a long way to go on the bus to collect a parcel

I use this facility often and do not want to see it closed.
