As you know, CTGHG has advocated tirelessly at various levels for a lifting of the rate freezes in the community care sector. CCACs have been directed by government to keep billing rates at the same level until at least October 2014. This has caused great pressure on organizations like ours that invest heavily in the delivery of quality care and has resulted in the creation of a false economy related to worker compensation within the health care sector.

Therefore, we have created an opportunity for our collaborative voice to be brought forward to the decision makers at Queens Park. If you would like to be part of this initiative, please sign this petition.

Thank you - and, as always, your comments and questions are welcome.

its about time someone actually stood up for us. the cost of living is way too high to keep our wages frozen like this.

Do the right thing and lift the freeze. Families depend on us.

Ridiculous that government expects quality care while cutting costs on the people actually doing the work.

been working in this sector for 10 years and its just getting worse. we deserve a fair living wage for the work we do.
